Summary: A haunted house that invites all kinds of folk has been seen before. A haunted house that seems to explicitly target those in a state of animosity towards everything is another. A haunted house where everyone could be there and not at the same time something completely different altogether.

History: Wayside Inn has something of a dark secret. The seemingly alright staff are in fact not people at all. They are manifestations of malice, and chief among them is an imposing figure known as the Tin Man. Masquerading as a lowly state trooper to lure people into the house, he then tells them that he killed God once, and will do the same to guests. However, he volunteers to spare the rest if they let one die. So you can see why he targets people who would turn on one another on a dime. That or the terrifying visions the house inflicts on people would make the hunt easier.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Only one couple manages to survive due to their ability to harness the love of a dead little girl who looks like their own dead one. It is revealed that they never entered the house, but their spirits did, and as they leave while very much alive, the Tin Man laughs as he and the staff of Wayside bid them farewell.

Powers/Abilities: Slight omnipotence, possibly.

Weakness: Only an unbreakable bond or some other kind of true love can ward him and the rest of the staff off.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-The house itself is a bit scarier due to the visions and the mistrust it creates and feeds upon. But the Tin Man is no slouch with his deep voice and creepy design. Oh, and also the fact that he'll kill you rather violently if he wants to.

Trivia: -The Tin Man was played by Pawel Delag, who played a minor role in "Schindler's List".
